Playwright
“Every 21 Seconds”, a creative interwoven series of five life story monologues was written by Lisa V. Werenko and was produced at the Historic Lensic Theatre in Santa Fe, New Mexico, starring Wes Studi, Teri Garr, Kent Kirkpatrick and directed by Wendy Chapin.
“Happy Birthday Planet Earth”, “Zwibble's friend Fred the Moose makes a wish.” “Butterflies and Flower Seeds,” three plays written by Lisa V Werenko, for three consecutive years were produced at the Central Park Earth Day Events.
The plays featured children’s song writer/performer Dave Kinnoin and children’s favorites from Sesame Street. Ten thousand butterflies were released and flowers planted. The guests included Mayor Koch, Mayor Dinkins, celebrities such as Carly Simon, Nelly the Elephant and over ten thousand children from inner city schools in the five boroughs.
